HEALING IS FOR YOU
"He sent His Word and healed them". Psalm 107:20
JESUS TOOK UPON HIM YOUR SICKNESSES
The bible says:- "When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
"He himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses". Matthew 8:16-17
If Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses then what are we doing being sick?
Well of course Jesus took upon Himself the sin of the whole world, but that doesn't mean that everyone gets saved. Far from it. However, the price for their salvation is paid for. So it is with healing. He "took", means He has taken.
HEALING IN YOUR SALVATION
the passage that the Bible is referring to in retrospect is Isaiah 53:4. Here more clarity is seen. This whole passage is talking about the Lamb of god taking away the sins of the world and in the same moment refers directly to sicknesses (or grief) and sorrows.
Isaiah 53:5 says that "By His stripes we are healed". this referred to again in 1 Pet 2:24 where it says "By His stripes you WERE healed". Meaning in the past tense. you WERE, not you are going to be.
Healing is therefore wrapped up in the covenant that gives us salvation as well. In fact, to the Jews, the word "Salvation" means healing and deliverance. The setting free of the whole spirit, mind and body.
WHY DOESN'T EVERYONE GET HEALED THEN?
Well this is the same as saying "Why doesn't everyone get saved then?". the reason they don't is that they don't believe. the whole new Testament salvation comes "by grace, through faith". Ephesians 2:8. Either through ignorance or unbelief many people get only part of God's blessing.
"For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the Word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it". Hebrews 4:2
Healing, like victory, like deliverance, like liberty is all part of your covenant benefits. But you receive it "By grace, through faith".
It is a position of rest. It is given to you but you must receive it, through faith.
HOW DO WE GRASP THIS?
the Bible says that "Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God" Romans 10:17
So obviously if we want to receive healing we must turn to the written word and allow it to be revealed to us. then any doubts can be dispelled by "It is written".
"In Lystra a certain man without strength in his feet, was sitting a cripple from his mother's womb, who had never walked. This man HEARD Paul speaking. Paul observing him intently and seeing that he had faith to be healed, said with a loud voice "Stand up straight on your feet! and he leaped up and walked". Acts 14:8,9
THE PROCESS OF RECEIVING:
1. Faith to be healed was seen
2. An instant response to the voice
3. He confessed his belief by trying to get on his feet which had never walked
HEALED BY FAITH
many times Jesus said to people "It is your faith that has healed you". In this case the man had faith but still did not receive until he acted upon it. He could have got up by himself and he would have been healed, without Paul's command. However, Paul helped him, by telling him how to act upon the faith that he already had.
How did he get this faith? He hadn't had it before this time. He had been crippled from birth and never walked. He got it from listening to Paul. Listening to Paul about eternal life. No listening to Paul about the full aspect of the gospel, which included healing the sick.
On acting upon his new found faith, he found that substance was added to his hope and that he had the strength in his feet that he had not realised, until he made the effort to get up and walk.
HOW DO YOU GET FAITH?
1. Hear the word and meditate on it.
2. As it becomes revealed to you, act on it.
3. Faith comes by hearing it deep down.
How do you hear it deep down? by dwelling on it and turning it over in your mind until it is revealed by the Holy Sprit. The light gets switched on so to speak.
Doubts are banished by quoting the word to them in an act of confession. "I am healed devil, the word says so", and quote it to him.
"Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me bless His holy name, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases." Psalm 103:1-3
JEAN NEIL HAD BEEN BOUND TO A WHEELCHAIR
Jean Neil had been bound to a wheelchair for many years. She had had many unfortunate things happen in her life. But the degrading crumbling spine was the worst. She could not move properly for many years and relied on her husband to take her around the place. Doctors said that she needed many operations and that these could not even save this condition only help a little.
Jean knew Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour and being provoked by a little boy's prayer she challenged God to heal her. Basically she got serious with God regarding her condition. God met her where she was. She went to a Reinhardt Bonnke crusade in Britain and the Lord had told her that He was going to do something that night to her. He also told Reinhardt who did not even know her.
As the evangelist entered the room he saw her and jumped inside his spirit. At the end of the meeting he went across and prayed for her. She jumped out of the wheelchair and ran around the auditorium room. All of this was captured on the video camera.
Jean now works for the Lord Jesus full time and has been instrumental in bringing divine healing to many people. Some just like herself. She has never been back in a wheelchair and suffers no effect whatsoever from the spine, legs or anything else in her body. She boats that she is completely healed by the power of Jesus name.

"Then He touched their eyes saying -According to your faith let it be to you, - and their eyes were opened". Mt 9:29-30
"Go your way; your faith has made you well, and immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road". Mark 10:52
"And without faith it is impossible to please God. For he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him". Hebrews 11:6
